UV Laser Marking
Laser Engraving Service Pricing
355nm UV laser — cold marking. It marks the surface without excess heat: no scorching, no melting, no deformation. The result is permanent, sharp, and rub-resistant. Works on glass, wood, coated or anodised aluminium, and plastic — the same price for every material.
Calculate Your Order
Enter your design size and order quantity. It uses the same rates as the tables below.
Pricing Formula
Price per pc = Base Fee + ( Area cm² × Rate per cm² × Depth Multiplier × Density Multiplier )
The base fee covers preparation and fixturing for each item. The rate per cm² covers the area actually lasered. The depth multiplier applies when you ask for deeper engraving. The density multiplier applies according to how much of that area the laser actually sweeps.
Base Fee & Rate by Order Quantity
| Order quantity | Base fee — flat surface | Base fee — round bottle (rotary) | Rate per cm² |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 pc (sample) | Rp 10,000 | Rp 16,000 | Rp 700 |
| 25 pcs and up | Rp 4,500 | Rp 7,000 | Rp 280 |
| 50 pcs and up | Rp 3,500 | Rp 5,500 | Rp 200 |
| 100 pcs and up | Rp 2,500 | Rp 4,000 | Rp 170 |
| 500 pcs and up | Rp 1,000 | Rp 2,500 | Rp 150 |
Area is used exactly as measured, with no rounding. Only the final price per piece is rounded up to the nearest ten rupiah. Orders of 2–24 pcs are charged at the sample rate.
Maximum marking area is 10 × 10 cm, set by the lens field.
Engraving Depth
| Level | Name | Result | Best for | cm² rate multiplier |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1× | Standard | Surface marking, full contrast, not felt by touch | Logos, text, brand names — 90% of orders | × 1.0 |
| 2× | Medium | Deeper, starts to be felt by touch | A premium feel, special-edition bottles | × 1.7 |
| 3× | Deep | Clearly tactile, sharp edges like carving | Luxury packaging, plaques, exclusive souvenirs | × 2.4 |
| 4× | Extra Deep | Very deep, relief effect | Custom — talk to us first | × 3.1 |
| 5× | Maximum | The deepest we consider safe | Custom — talk to us first | × 3.8 |
On glass we recommend staying at Standard (1×). Glass risks hairline cracking when engraved too deep. Medium (2×) is still possible with a sample test first; we do not recommend 3× and above on glass. Full depth 3×–5× suits wood, coated aluminium, and plastic best.
Design Density
Density is the share of the marking area the laser actually sweeps — not the size of the design box. Two designs of the same size can differ in machine time by up to two and a half times.

How to Measure the Area
Measure the length × width of your design's bounding box, not the area of the strokes. Use the figure as-is, decimals included: a 3.5 × 4.5 cm logo is 15.75 cm², not rounded up to 16.
The Process
Filmed at our workshop in South Tangerang. No flame, no smoke, no scorched smell — that is the difference between a 355nm UV laser and a CO₂ laser.

How to read it: take the base fee for your order quantity, add the design area times the rate per cm², then multiply by the depth multiplier and the density multiplier. The result is rounded up to the nearest ten rupiah.
Results by Material
Glass
A high-contrast white frosted finish. No cracking, no chipping. This is what we run most often for perfume bottles.
Wood
A sharp dark brown finish. No burn marks and no scorched smell — this is where UV lasers beat CO₂ lasers.
Aluminium & Plastic
The coating lifts away cleanly into silver contrast; plastic neither melts nor yellows.

Start on WhatsAppImportant Notes
- Bare uncoated aluminium is not ideal for UV lasers — the result is faint. We recommend coated or anodised stock.
- Plastics vary enormously in type and colour. For a first order we recommend testing 1–2 pcs first.
- The risk of breakage on thin or hollow glass is outside our responsibility. Include 2–3% spares.
- Prices on this page cover the marking service only. Aqsara Studio also supplies imported perfume bottles, caps, and sprayers.
- This price list stands until Aqsara Studio publishes an update.
Why engraving instead of stickers
Stickers and screen printing sit on the surface, so edges lift after repeated handling, alcohol contact, or friction inside a bag. Laser engraving alters the glass itself. Nothing can peel because nothing was added.
Small runs actually make sense here
Because we own the machine, we are not chasing an external vendor minimum. This makes engraving the one part of our service not bound by the 1,000 pcs MOQ — suited to limited editions, corporate gifts, or proving a design before a large run.
Send the right file
Supply your logo as DXF where possible — it is the only format that goes straight to the machine, with no file preparation fee. Other vector formats (AI, CDR, SVG, PDF) are equally good in quality and still accepted, but carry the preparation fee because they must be converted and checked first. High-resolution PNG still works, but very thin strokes risk disappearing.
Our bottles or yours
You can order bottles from our catalogue and have them engraved before shipping, or send bottles you already hold for us to engrave. If they came from another supplier, send photos and dimensions first so we can confirm the surface suits engraving.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does laser engraving cost per piece?
It depends on design area, order quantity, depth, and design density. For example, a 4 × 5 cm logo on 50 flat-surface bottles at Standard depth: Rp 3,500 + (20 cm² × Rp 200) = Rp 7,500 per piece. Use the calculator on this page for your own order.
Does the price differ for glass, wood, or plastic?
No. The rate is the same for every material. Price depends only on design area, order quantity, surface type (flat or round bottle), engraving depth, and design density.
Are there any costs beyond the per-piece price?
One mandatory and three optional, all one-off. Mandatory: Rp 50,000 machine setup per item model — each item shape needs its own fixture and alignment, including on reorders. Optional: Rp 200,000 design service if you do not have a design, Rp 50,000 per small variant of an existing design, and Rp 50,000 file preparation if your file is not a DXF. Marking both sides is charged at twice the price.
How many design revisions are included?
2 revisions are included in the Rp 200,000 design service. The third revision onwards is Rp 50,000 each. Small changes to a finished design — swapping the ml size or a product variant name — are charged Rp 50,000 per variant, not as a new design.
Why do dense designs cost more?
Because they take longer on the machine. Price is calculated from the design box, and the same box can hold an outline logo or a full-block raster photo — the second sweeps almost the entire area and can take two and a half times as long as the first. You pick the density in the calculator, and we confirm it once we receive your file.
What is the minimum order for laser engraving?
Because the machine is ours, engraving is not bound by the 1,000 pcs import MOQ. Small quantities are workable — send your quantity and design on WhatsApp for a quote.
Can engraving fade or come off?
No. Engraving alters the glass surface rather than adding a layer on top, so there is nothing to peel or fade.
What file format do you need?
We prefer DXF — the only format that goes straight to the machine, at no extra charge. Any other format is accepted (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, CDR, PNG, JPG) with a file preparation fee. For PNG or JPG, use high resolution — very thin line detail risks becoming unreadable.
Can you engrave bottles bought elsewhere?
Yes. Send photos and dimensions on WhatsApp so we can confirm the surface is suitable before you ship them.
Can you engrave the cap instead of the bottle?
Yes, and it is often more effective. The cap is the part held and viewed up close most often, especially magnetic caps with a flat, generous surface.
